Elsewhere in the Houston Dynamo System

Bryan/College Station, Texas – April 14, 2018 – As the 2018 MLS season progresses through its early stages, the Houston Dynamo find themselves in 9th place within the Western Conference. Honduran star Alberth Elis currently leads the club in both goals (2) and assists (3) to start the long campaign. With 4 points in their first four games, Houston is looking to return to positive form in tonight’s match against the San Jose Earthquakes.

At the USL level, the Rio Grande Valley FC Toros have encountered solid competition as they look to improve their results from 2017. The Toros have drawn twice and lost once in their first three games of the new season. Todd Wharton has been an early standout, as he earned Team of the Week honors for Week 3 after an exciting performance against Sacramento Republic FC on March 31st. With each game being tightly contested so far, RGVFC aims to get their first win tonight against Seattle Sounders 2.
