Three More Join the Brazos Valley Cavalry FC and Final Three Mascot Names Announced

Bryan-College Station (April 19, 2017)- The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC are excited to announce that they have added Huntley Munn, Emmanuel Usen Jr. and Matt Dorsey to the inaugural roster and announced the final three names for the Name the Mascot Contest! Dorsey and Usen Jr. are both alumni of the Dynamo Academy. The top three names in the Name the Mascot Contest are Sarge, Little Texas, and General Friday. Matt Dorsey is currently a redshirt sophomore at the University of New Mexico. The midfielder played in 18 games last year, starting two and recorded a goal on four shots. Dorsey was recognized as a 2017 Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal recipient. In his freshman year with the Lobos, Dorsey started six games and had an assist and played over 800 minutes. Dorsey is from Spring, Texas. Emmanuel Usen Jr. started his college career at IUPUI and transferred to California State University Northridge last season. Usen Jr. freshman year was statistically the best of his three collegiate seasons as he started 16 games and had six goals and four assists for the Jaguars. He added two goals and an assist the following season. The Katy, Texas native started 18 games in his first season with the Matadors and recorded an assist in his first game. Usen Jr. totaled four assists on the year which was second on the team. Usen Jr. also had 24 shots which was tied for third with his teammates. Huntley Munn is from Durham, N.C. and is playing college soccer at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. The defenseman started five games his freshman season and was named a recipient of the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award. Munn was named to the Third-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association last season when he started 17 games and recorded an assist and played over 1400 minutes for the Seahawks.
