Cavalry Continues to Strengthen Roster with Three AdditionsBryan-College Station, TX (April 6, 2017) - The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC are thrilled to announce the signing of three more players to the inaugural 2017 PDL roster. Zachary Jackson, Kalvin Kromer, and Finlay Bloodworth are the newest additions to the Cavalry FC.
Zachary Jackson is a midfielder from Cypress, Texas. He is no stranger to the Houston Dynamo organization and is a proud Dynamo Academy alumni. Jackson currently plays for Furman University. Last season, Jackson appeared in all 18 games for the Paladins picking up one assist on the year. In 2015, Jackson started in two games and scored his first career goal against the #4 North Carolina and his second against Temple.
Kalvin Kromer currently serves as a midfielder for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During the 2016 season, Kromer played in all 17 games as a junior with 14 starts, scored two goals with two assists and opened the season strong with a goal and an assist in victory over Campbell. Kromer contributed to a goal in Seahawks' 3-1 victory over Hofstra, recorded an assist in 3-0 triumph over Dayton at UNCW SpringHill Suites Classic, and took 17 shots, including eight attempts on goal.
Finlay Bloodworth is a native of Kings Lynn, England and is currently a defender for Bellevue University. In Bloodworths first year at Bellevue, he started in an impressive 15 games. Bloodworth scored four out of five shots on the goal for the year. Bloodworth also contributed two assists in his first season for the Bruins.
