Cavalry FC Add Three Players to 2018 RosterBryan/College Station, Texas – April 12, 2018 – The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC is excited to announce three players added to their roster for the 2018 season. Josue Palomino and Dominick Faletto are returning to the Cavalry roster for the upcoming season. Additionally, Brandon Guhl will be joining the Cavalry as a first-time player in 2018. These players will look to be the foundation to bring a championship to the Brazos Valley in the 2018 season. Josue Palomino, a junior co-captain at Houston Baptist University, rejoins the Cavalry and brings valuable experience to the midfield. As BVCFC’s inaugural captain, the Dynamo Academy product played in 11 games, logging key minutes along the way. At HBU last fall, Palomino served a vital role, starting in 13 of his 14 appearances. Dominick Faletto, a sophomore and co-captain with Palomino at Houston Baptist University, looks to further develop his all-around skill set in the Brazos Valley for a second season. After delivering the first Cavalry assist at home last season, Faletto continued his success back at HBU last fall. Leading the Huskies in assists (5) and shots on goal (11) and finishing third in minutes played, Faletto brings a high level of artistry back to the Cavalry FC. Brandon Guhl, a sophomore at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, has officially joined the Cavalry FC for this coming season. The Houston native from Clear Lake High School, played in 21 games, scored 13 goals and 5 assists throughout the 2017 season. Guhl compiled a total of 37 points in 1,741 minutes of play and was awarded the 2017 BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the Year, 2017 First Team All-BIG EAST, 2017 All-Great Lakes Region First Team and the 2017 BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week (9/18).
