Bryan/College Station, Texas – April 26, 2018 – Brazos Valley Cavalry FC and the Brazos Valley Bombers are excited to welcome three new members to our Front Office staffs, Conner Leonard, Mike Phillips, and Samantha Nelson.

Conner Leonard joins Cavalry FC and the Bombers as the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager after serving as Digital Marketing Assistant for Florida Atlantic University’s Athletic Department in Boca Raton, Florida. Conner graduated with a MBA in Sport Management from Florida Atlantic in 2017, and with his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Florida Atlantic in 2015. Conner will oversee all Cavalry FC and Bombers’ social media and digital marketing, while being the main point of contact for Cavalry FC and Bombers’ media releases and inquiries.

Mike Phillips joins Cavalry FC and the Bombers as Director of Business Operations. Mike brings over 20 years of operations experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry at both the corporate and restaurant level to the team. Mike graduated from University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Administration. Both he and his wife, Melanie, have hosted 28 players over the previous 10 summers of TCL play. Mike’s responsibilities will entail the staffing, training, and execution of game-day operations.

Samantha Nelson joins Cavalry FC and the Bombers as the Director of Partnership Success. Samantha joins us with multiple years of managerial experience and worked for TCL team, the Brazos Valley Bombers during the 2010 season. Samantha graduated from Lamar University in 2015 with a MS Degree in Dietetics and from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science.
