Bryan/College Station, Texas – May 4, 2018 – The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC is thrilled to announce the signing of four players from the Houston Dynamo Academy, Christian Molina, Kevin Rodriguez, Johnathon Diaz, and Luis Garza.

Christian Molina will be returning to the Brazos Valley for the 2018 season. Molina played 12 games with the Cavalry and is tied for second on the team for games played. In 2017, Molina scored 2 goals and had one assist. He is currently a sophomore at Northern Illinois. He started in all 15 games played for the Huskies where he had 1 goal and 2 assists. The Katy, Texas native is also a member of the Dynamo Academy.

Kevin Rodriguez played in 2 games with the Brazos Valley Cavalry in 2017. Rodriguez is currently a junior at Northern Illinois with Christian Molina. As a midfielder, Rodriguez started in all 15 games played and had 1 goal and one assist. The Cavalry are hoping their chemistry developed at Northern Illinois will help them grow this summer.

Freshman defender Johnathon Diaz, currently attends Incarnate Word. Diaz played in 14 games for the Cardinals and scored one goal. The Baytown, Texas native is also a Dynamo Academy Player. Diaz looks to build upon a strong Freshman season with Incarnate Word into a steady summer with the Brazos Valley Cavalry FC.

Luis Garza if currently a freshman defender at Incarnate Word University. The Dynamo Academy player played on the U18 team for the Dynamo. Garza started in 16 of 18 games played. Garza joins Johnathon Diaz as a young defender from Incarnate Word looking to take the next step for the Cavalry.
